Application Overview
In plating processes, plating solutions, pretreatment chemicals, and cleaning liquids are typically stored in process tanks or sumps and are often highly corrosive. Vertical chemical pumps feature a submerged design with the motor mounted above the liquid level, allowing direct suction from tanks while protecting the motor from chemical attack.
With a simple structure and reliable performance, these pumps are well suited for continuous operation and are widely used for bath circulation, solution transfer, and wastewater discharge in plating production lines.
Typical Applications
Plating Bath Circulation
Circulates plating solutions within tanks to maintain stable process conditions
Pretreatment Tank Suction and Transfer
Draws and transfers liquids directly from degreasing and pickling tanks.
Cleaning and Rinsing Liquid Transfer
Transfers chemical liquids generated during cleaning and rinsing processes.
Waste Liquid Discharge and Collection
Transfers plating wastewater to centralized treatment or recovery systems.
