Electroplating filter units (corrosion-resistant models in PP/CPVC/PVDF materials) are compatible with the full range of electroplating solutions, acid-base etching solutions, pre-treatment activation & passivation solutions, anodizing solutions, and electroless plating solutions.
Only the unit body material needs to be matched according to the corrosiveness of the chemical solution for universal filtration. The equipment is mainly used to remove metal debris, salt precipitates, suspended impurities and organic carbon residues, so as to realize tank solution circulation and purification.

VIII. Material Corrosion Resistance Matching Specification (Core for Model Selection)
-
FRPP Polypropylene Material (Universal Economical Model)
Compatible with most normal-temperature dilute acids, weak alkalis, conventional nickel/acid copper/zinc plating solutions, and alkaline degreasing solutions; Heat resistance: ≤70℃
❌ Forbidden: Concentrated chromic acid, concentrated nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, high-temperature strong oxidizing solutions
-
PVC/CPVC Material (Specialized for Chromic Acid Solutions)
Specially adapted for hexavalent chromium hard chrome solution, decorative chrome solution, high-concentration chromic acid mixed solution; resistant to medium-concentration strong acid corrosion. CPVC features better high-temperature resistance than standard PVC.
-
PVDF Polyvinylidene Fluoride Material (Top-Grade High-Temperature Resistant Model)
Compatible with full-range strong acids, hydrofluoric acid, concentrated nitric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, high-temperature electroless nickel solutions, and strong oxidizing chemical solutions; Heat resistance: ≤95℃, with the best comprehensive corrosion resistance for all working conditions.
Supplementary note: PP material has better resistance to high-concentration hot sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) than PVDF. PP models are preferred for high-concentration alkaline tank applications.
IX. Forbidden Solutions (Strictly Prohibited for Filtration)
- All organic solvents: Alcohol, acetone, toluene, xylene, esters, ketone solutions (these will cause swelling and corrosion of plastic unit body)
- High-viscosity fluids: Lubricating oil, grease, paint, resin stock solution, hot melt adhesive solution
- Solutions with massive hard crystalline particles, abrasive powder substances, and high-temperature molten fluids
- Easily polymerized, curable and high-viscosity colloidal solutions
